Dales Butchers is proud to announce that one of our butchers, Ira Collier, is to represent Team GB in the World Butchers’ Challenge. The competition, which takes place this September in Sacramento, California, is regarded as the meat industry equivalent to the Olympics and it will feature teams from 16 different countries.
Ira will be competing for the title of ‘World’s Best Young Butcher’, but in order for him to get to Sacramento, he needs to raise £2,000 in funds to support his trip.
So, to help him reach his target, 3 products he has created will go on sale in the shop, with 20% of all proceeds going towards his travel expenses.
