A delicacy that is only available for a brief period each year, Spring lamb is now available and once again we’re delighted to say that we have been able to source some of our first spring lambs from the Galbraith farm at Endmoor, near Kendal.

At Dales Butchers, we’re proud to support local farming. Our shop is based in Kirkby Lonsdale, sitting on the borders of Cumbria, Lancashire, and the Yorkshire Dales. We source almost all of our meat from local farms, often buying directly from the farmers, and all of these areas are renowned for producing some of the UK’s finest quality meat.

Hampshire Down lamb

The Galbraith family has been farming in the local area for generations and their flock of Hampshire Down sheep produces excellent quality meat.

The lamb is reared naturally on lush Cumbria pastures and allowed to roam freely, resulting in extremely tender and flavoursome meat.

If you’re looking for something special for Easter, we have some wonderful whole legs, boneless legs, and shoulder joints ready for you. All of our lamb is prepared on-site by our highly skilled butchers, so you can be sure you’re always getting the best quality meat possible.
