Well, the scores are in and we have to say, we’re very proud of what Ira has achieved at this year’s World Butchers Challenge.
Ira headed to Sacramento to be pitted against some of the world’s best young butchers competing for the title ‘World Champion Young Butcher’ and although he didn’t come home with the title on this occasion, he was mighty close!
Out of the 14 top competitors sent to represent their respective country, Ira finished in a very respectable 4th place and just 0.9 of a point from a top three finish. Needless to say, if he’s fortunate enough to be selected for a Team GB place in the future, he’ll definitely be up for the challenge.
Ira would like to say a very big thank you to friends, family, customers and colleagues for all the wonderful support he received.
