We’re currently celebrating another nice award win here at Dales Butchers!
Organised by the Q Guild of Butchers, the Smithfield Awards took place in London on the 7th of February and they recognise and reward some of the country’s best butchers. An independent panel of food and meat industry experts blind judge products in 18 categories, such as: Pies, Sausages, Ready-Meals, Gluten-Free Products, and more. Nigel Barden, whom many of you will know from Radio 2’s Simon Mayo programme, announced the awards and we were really pleased to come away with 7 Gold Awards in total.
At Dales Traditional Butchers, we have been supplying the finest quality, locally farmed meats to the people of Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding areas of Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales for over 100 years.
