Following on from their double success at the World Championship Scotch Pie Awards in January, Dales Butchers are once again celebrating after another double win. This time at the British Pie Awards 2020.
Dales Butchers of Cumbria scooped two titles at this year’s British Pie Awards.
Held at the Rural Capital of Food in Melton Mowbray, this year’s British Pie Awards saw a whopping 848 pies entered from 160 professional pie bakers, butchers and chefs from around the country. After an extensive judging process on each pie’s appearance, taste and skills by 140 experts, the pies received their awards on Friday 6th March. The Judging and Awards ceremony took place in the magnificent St Mary’s Church in Melton Mowbray.
